Welcome to the Postgraduate Dental Programme. We have endeavoured to make the programme as interesting and varied as possible. A Dental Committee, made up of local GDPs and Consultants, meets regularly to discuss the forthcoming programme and we would welcome any comments or ideas you may have to improve the format/content.
To keep up to date, suggestions are always welcome from GDPs for new ideas for courses. Several of the courses being run this year are repeats of popular courses from last year or have been suggested by participants from earlier courses. Some of our speakers from last year also offered to run new courses for us this year and we are most grateful for their support.
We hope our ‘regular’ delegates agree that the centre has a very friendly atmosphere as well as excellent facilities and that they are always made to feel welcome.
Following the recent merger of the KSS and London Regions, all courses can now be booked on the new eWisdom website – www.ewisdom-london.nhs.uk/coursesandbooking.

If you are required to bring any specific instruments/preparation, it will be stated in the course write-up or we will let you know beforehand. CMEC is able to provide a fairly comprehensive range of dental equipment, including motors, hand pieces and dental instruments for hands-on courses. GDPs are encouraged to bring their own familiar hand instruments and a protective coat.
Coffee is available at registration (half an hour before the course start time) and it is important that you sign the Register. A coffee/tea break mid-morning and mid-afternoon is planned unless altered by the Speaker. A sandwich lunch is provided for all-day courses. Please advise us in plenty of time of any specific dietary requirements.
